Mother's Day worldwide

Does your mother live abroad? Or do you know someone who just became a mother, will soon be one or maybe became grand-mother? Mother's Day is a special day for a mother and it will always be special. Cultural differences, landscapes and climates change, but the feeling to be a mother is similar all around the world.

Mother's Day is therefore one of the days during the year, when it's the perfect day to send your mother a lovely surprise. It all started already during Ancient Greek times, though the Mother's Day tradition grew internationally during the 19th century. Nowadays it's a popular day to spend time with your mother, go somewhere for a day, give her a present and let her know how much your appreciate her.

Mother's Day isn't celebrated on the same day everywhere, though most countries celebrate it during Spring season. Take a look at the list below to check where Mother's Day is celebrated worldwide and make sure to send your mother a lovely bouquet of flowers, wherever she lives!
