Your new role
As Usability researcher you are part of the Optimization team and responsible for finding out where consumers/users make mistakes, drop out of the funnel (and why) and where they get frustrated with our systems, all with the goal to improve the user experience.

As a member of the optimization team you work closely with the internal developers, conversion specialists, designers and usability researchers. In addition, you will work closely together with our E-commerce managers to translate business requirements and goals into practical improvements.

Requirements
What you will need to succeed
In order to start your internship, you need to have some UX research experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have a background in social sciences, e-commerce and/or marketing. A good grasp of user-centred design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns are experiences that you need for this position.

You posses the ability to clearly and effectively communicate usability issues, new ideas, and solutions to the team and internal stakeholders. Some front-end programming skills are a nice bonus, but not a requirement. Since we are an international company with English as our main language, good communication skills (spoken and written) in English are a must.

Your new role
As UX Designer you are part of the Optimization team and responsible for professionalising the interfaces, look and feel, and overall user experience of the company's online platform, corporate website and internal IT systems. Responsibilities include UI design, UX design, prototyping and wireframing, all according to our existing brand guidelines.

Additionally, as UX Designer you actively work with the other designers and developers. You are part of the Online team and you work closely with the internal developers, conversion specialists and usability researchers. In addition, you will work closely together with our E-commerce managers to translate business requirements and goals into practical interface designs.

The Customer Service Representative’s responsibility is to help our customers make their friends, families, colleagues and loved ones happy, noticed and remembered and to make life easier and more profitable for our florists.

Tasks

The role

You will be part of an international team and report to our Marketing & Communications Manager based in Malmö, Sweden. What you will be doing:
As a web analyst, you are working in the center of our international online marketing & ecommerce activities. Analysing customer behaviour in our marketing channels and on our online touchpoints, translating it into actionable insights & improvements.

You will be working closely together with the international online team and provide them with the data they can trust, work with and base their business decisions on.

  • You “are” the web data guru in the company!
  • Own the (online) data & data quality. Establish company wide definitions of our metrics;
  • Manage ad-hoc data analysis requests for several stakeholders;
  • Create, test and optimize our tracking;
  • Manage our Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager environments across all our markets;
  • Help integrating the web data into other marketing systems, BI-systems;
  • Perform pro-active analysis to find opportunities where we can improve our KPI’s;
  • Assist the Optimization team in analysing the A/B tests performed;
  • Act as one of the “voice of the customer” channels towards the entire organisation;
  • Work together with our marketeers on attribution modelling;

Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Finished HBO/University (or equivalent) and at least 4 years experience in Web Analytics. Preferably in a B2C e-commerce environment;
  • High English proficiency (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Excel/tableau/Google Sheets (or similar systems);
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript and SQL;
  • Good understanding of basic statistical principles;
  • Strong analytical skills to translate large amounts of data into concrete advice and conclusions;
  • Good communication skills and the ability to talk about data analysis in layman's terms
  • A team player with a strong customer focus
  • Understand what drives online marketing & online sales.
  • Bonus: Interest in Machine learning and R or similar.
